Answer

The Get Light Info function retrieves data from both the symbols in your current file and the Spotlight "Default" symbols.  In order to extract data from the default symbols, they are temporarily imported into your drawing file.  A symbol definition in your drawing differs from Spotlight's default definition.

You can find the default Spotlight symbols folder at {Vectorworks application}/Libraries/Defaults/Lighting Instrument - Symbols/Instrument Symbols.vwx,  In this file, you can either delete the conflicting symbols, or import the symbols from your drawing file.  Alternatively, if you prefer the newer version of the symbol and want to update, you can import the symbol definition from "Instrument Symbols" file or the proper Spotlight object library file.
